El Presidente aka Memin El Pinguin - The Spanish Don, will be celebrating his birthday in style, June 28th '08... starting off with a family event - promoting peace between the black and latin communities, in downtown Long Beach (See flyer below).
El Presidente will then be hosting a party during the evening, at the upscale Blue Moon Nights club in North Hollywood. Latino 96.3fm DJ Rythmn will be spinning the best of Hip Hip, Reggaeton and Latin, warming the crowd for a performance from El Presidente, and special guests. There will be VIP's from MTV TR3, BET, 96.3fm to name a few.

El Presidente aka Steve Leary, was a pro ball player for the Magic Johnson All Stars Team, traveling the world, and has now concentrates on doing commercial Hip Hop in Spanish (think P.Diddy/Jay-Z in Spanish) and MC’ing. As he is a 6’7 African American, he also promotes peace between the black and Hispanic communities. He is currently working on his album, and will have DJ Felifell, Guerilla Black, Won-G, and Spinderella featured on it. You can find out more about him at http://www.spanishdon.com/
El Presidente has been creating a lot of buzz lately (he has already performed in front of 50,000) and you may have seen him on Channel 7's Eyewitness News (Cinco de Mayo, Olvera St), the "The Real" TV Show with DJ Silky D, and BET's Lorenzo Sims. He was also recently featured on MTV TR3 with L Boogs, Snoop Dogg's "DPGTV" and "The Rhino Room". He is currently being sponsored or endorsed by LRG, Lowrider Shades, Phat Farm, and Kelloggs Apparel (underthehood.com). If you have seen him perform live, you will already know he has products to give away (Designer T-Shirts, Shades, CD’s etc) and knows how to hype up the crowd.
His next performances will be at the West Coast Hip Hop Awards in Portland July 19th, and huge festival at Echo Park on August 2nd. He will also be at MAGIC in Vegas, promoting, during August.
El Presidente does not cuss, he doesn't disrespect women, he doesn't promote gangs or violence, and he is suitable for a family audience.
